Moors, Coffee, and Golden Sand
We invite you to get to know the Zone of the Saints, which is where you can find some of the best coffee in Costa Rica. Here, you can explore the valleys, mountains, and sweet waters of the South Pacific.
ITINERARY
¡Welcome to Costa Rica!
We’ll be with you, from the moment you leave the airport, ready to start your adventure.
Depending on when you arrive, we’ll take you to your first destination in Cartago or to a closer hotel to rest.
Cerro de la Muerte
Are you ready for your first traditional breakfast in Costa Rica? Did you know that for most Ticos, their day doesn’t really begin until they’ve had their first cup of coffee?
Cerro de la Muerte (Death’s Peak) is the tallest part of the Tapanti Mountain Range and is surrounded by a dense rainforest and tropical moor. As the favorite forest for quetzals and hundreds of other bird species, you are sure to spot some beautiful ones.
You know that magical mix of chilly weather and a hot cup of coffee? Let that feeling permeate your time in this secluded paradise as you relax and prepare to create new and unique experiences.
Quetzals National Park
Can you imagine anything quite as amazing as waking up in the middle of the forest, surrounded by ancient oaks and crystal clear water?
Enjoy your traditional breakfast and rejuvenative coffee as you prepare to explore the trails of the Quetzals National Park, which is named after this tropical bird, famous for its long tail feathers and dazzling green and red plumage.
You’ll find peace and relaxation during your stay here. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to connect with yourself in this special place most tourists never even learn about.
Dota Providence
The Zona de Los Santos (Region of Saints), is known for producing the highest quality coffee in all of Costa Rica, as well as its gorgeous landscapes.
You will have the next two days to explore the Dota Providence, creating lifelong connections with some of our local friends as you live a unique experience in this remote destination.
Some of the attractions of the region include learning everything about coffee, 4×4 adventures, and swimming in clear river springs.
Uvita
In order to get from Providence to Uvita, we will take you in a 4×4 vehicle to cross rivers, scale mountains, and traverse gravel roads. Once past the mountain range, you will encounter the gorgeous beaches of the South Pacific.
Uvita is one of the most biologically diverse areas of the world. In this magical place, you will be able to swim along the beaches and explore the trails.
Marine WhaleNational Park
Depending on the time of the year, these waters are one of the favorite places around for dolphins and Jorobada whales.
How does it sound if you finish off your trip with a hike through the national park, some snorkeling, and a visit to the photographable “whale’s tail” peninsula?
Tell us, so far what has been your favorite part of the itinerary?
San José
We can’t believe the time has come to say goodbye. It’s crazy how fast a week can go by when we are sharing such incredible experiences.
Remember that if you would like to spend more time in this beautiful country, you can personalize your trip, adjusting to as many days as you have available. There is so much to see and experience in Costa Rica, that we could fill a whole year with one-of-a-kind experiences.
You will return to the airport, according to your individual flights.
